Sweep RF is being designed to do more than beep around radio energy. For supported analog signals, the app can compare demodulated audio with a controlled sound in the room. A strong match is direct evidence that a transmission may be carrying room audio.

Can Sweep detect every hidden camera or microphone?

No. No app or detector can guarantee that. Sweep records which methods were completed, correlates available evidence, and clearly reports remaining blind spots.

Will there be a web app?

No customer web app is planned for the initial product. The inspection runs in native iPhone and Android apps so it can use platform sensors and paired accessories reliably. This website is for product information, support, downloads, and future hardware ordering.

Will the phone-only scan be useful?

Yes. Free Access provides three complete guided physical, camera-and-torch optical, and relative magnetic checks with full in-app results. Home and Professional Access add authorized local-network discovery, BLE observations, wireless baselines/comparison context, and PDF export. Sweep does not claim the phone is a broadband RF receiver, an exact BLE locator, or a universal infrared detector.

What can cause a false positive?

Glass, polished metal, LEDs, screws, ordinary sensors, speakers, motors, magnets, wiring, appliances, wearables, smart-home devices, televisions, printers, and neighboring radios can all produce observations worth classifying. Sweep explains common innocent causes and a safe next check beside each result; an “Investigate” label is a follow-up prompt, not an automatic detection.

Are Sweep RF and Sweep Optic available now?

Not yet. The planned Home Antennas Kit is $999 and the Professional Antennas Kit is $2,999. Checkout will open only after measured hardware validation and fulfillment readiness.

Will my software access survive a reinstall?

Yes. Home and Professional Access are one-time store purchases. Sweep checks them again after reinstalling when you use the same App Store or Google Play account, and includes a Restore Purchases action. Purchases do not automatically transfer between Apple and Android.

Can an organization order several Sweep kits?

Yes. Enterprise deployments are quoted for five or more Home Antennas Kits, Professional Antennas Kits, or a mix. BlackSight can tailor volume pricing, onboarding, training, and support to the deployment. Software access remains licensed through the appropriate app store.
